Salon Director Catherine Carter is very keen at keeping up with the Beauty industry latest news along with new treatment and product launches. Catherine has a passion for delivering high standards within her salon.
After a successful 2017 achieving Winner and Finalist status at the Professional Beauty industry awards, Catherine was featured in two of the biggest industry magazines as recognition for her success. One of these articles featured the Catherine Carter Beauty Salon as well as Catherine as a salon owner, and the other article featured Catherine being interviewed on life as a salon owner.
Following on from this Catherine was invited to be a panel speaker in October 2017 at Professional Beauty Manchester on two different panels, discussing topics such as beauty training, standards, what the colleges can do to ensure a high standard of therapist, and employment for therapists.
“I absolutely love having input into these discussions because from my first college day I was driven to be the best….I was the one who finished all of my coursework and assessments with the highest marks. I had my own treatment room in my parents’ house so I could practice and drive to further myself…Standards at the age of 16 were so important to me as a fledgling therapist being the best was always my vision, so to be recognised 20 years later in both the awards and panel discussions allows me to demonstrate my passion and pass on my views to discuss topics like college standards, what employers like myself are expecting from new recruits”
